Vermont FOOD

It’s easy to eat local in Vermont. You can grow it yourself. New gardening methods help us extend the growing season, and preserving food from our gardens isn’t difficult once you learn how.

We also have great farmers and local food producers who make high quality, delicious food. We can join a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) purchase program, where we pay money up front to enjoy a share of the food a local farmer grows and harvests. Farmer’s markets are another great resource for the freshest food possible.

This page will be a resource for great local food. It is not complete. We will be adding to the list as we learn more. Feel free to email localvore (at) comcast (dot) net with changes or suggestions.
